Hope can be defined as “desiring with expectation of obtainment” or “a feeling of trust.” The dictionary goes on to say that hope is “an optimistic attitude of mind based on an expectation or desire that some specific goal will be achieved.” When we put our hope in Jesus, we can have an eternal perspective because our hope is not placed in this world but in the next.
